Instasafe Technologies joins Cloud Security Alliance as a Corporate member, brings expertise on Security-as-a-Service working group.
Instasafe is proud to announce that we have joined Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) as a Corporate Member. Cloud Security Alliance is the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining and raising awareness of best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment. Instasafe’s Secure Access & Cloud Web Security leverages the cloud infrastructure to provide a hardware-free, fully redundant, pay-as-you-grow security solution to enterprise and medium businesses. Instasafe also announced that it has joined Cloud Computing Innovation Council of India (CCICI).
In order to leverage economies of scale and streamlined delivery mechanisms, many security vendors are now leveraging cloud based models to deliver security solutions. To help consumers understand, evaluate and take the right decisions on cloud delivered security models, CSA recently started the Security as a Service Working Group.
“Instasafe looks forward to contributing to CSA’s initiatives and research and helping to build better and stronger cloud security standards and best practices” said Sandip Kumar Panda, CEO, Instasafe Technologies. “We look forward to bringing our experience and expertise in Security-as-a-Service environment and work closely with the CSA working to make all forms of cloud computing more secure for customers. At Instasafe we are strong proponent of building confidence and assurance in cloud security technology and with that objective we will also be undertaking the CSA STAR (Security, Trust & Assurance Registry) certification.”
Instasafe’s Security-as-a-Service solutions are used by many enterprise and medium businesses in India across verticals since its inception three years ago. Instasafe counts organisations like Sattva Group, DTDC, Asian Paints, Madura Fashion & Lifestyle and Kirloskar Electric among its customer base.
“We are very happy to have Instasafe Technologies join us as a Corporate Member” said Aloysius Cheang, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific, Cloud Security Alliance. “With their experience and expertise in Security-as-a-Service domain, we look forward to their contribution to the CSA Working Group”.
